“When In Our Music God Is Glorified”

Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good;
for his steadfast love endures forever.
Psalm 107:1
As we journey through this season of Lent, we see glimpses of grace and truth. In this penitent season, we are called to continue giving thanks to God. As we search ourselves, spending time in prayer and reflection, we also continue to worship God.

Have you noticed how our worship has changed in this season of Lent? Have you noticed that we have been more reflective? It is quite difficult to come in on Easter morning and celebrate our Risen Lord without going through this season. If you miss it, you miss something important. Ash Wednesday, 40 days of Lent, Palm Sunday, Holy Week – Maundy Thursday, Good Friday... Walking this journey with our Lord makes our celebration of Easter so much more meaningful having gone through this journey.

I invite you to join us on Wednesdays at 12:05 p.m. in the Chapel for Midday Prayer. This is an intentional time set aside for worship during the week to pray and reflect. Make plans to join us for the many opportunities to worship during the coming weeks.

Grace and Peace, Dakota
