Walking in the Humbleness of Jesus
“Let the same mind be in you that was in Christ Jesus......He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death-even death on a cross.” Philippians 2:5-11
During our Lenten journey we have looked at unveiling the gospel, understanding the grace of God, being a faithful disciple and church, and focusing on our relationship with Christ.
This week I want us to look at the glue that holds all of this together. Humbleness is serving others before ourselves, loving others before ourselves, and above all glorifying God. In the life of Christ, humbleness is found from the manger to the cross. Jesus humbly took on the cross to offer grace, forgiveness, and a relationship to those who would accept it. The King of Kings stepped down off of His throne so that we could step into eternity with Him. How can we walk in the humbleness of Jesus this week? Who can we introduce Jesus to today?
May you and your families have a blessed week! Brian, Mary, Brylee, Holland Funderburk
