What a Wonderful Time of Year
“Look among the nations, and see; wonder and be
astounded. For I am doing a work in your days that
you would not believe if told.” Habakkuk 1:5
As I was reading through the Christmas story this
morning, a verse in Habakkuk entered into my mind.
As so many laid asleep in Bethlehem on that first
Christmas morning, God was beginning a work that
would change the world and eternity forever! A
work that only few believed in until the completion of it
when His Son and our Savior rose from the dead three
days after His crucifixion. This gift of a Savior is so
astounding and so wonderful that I believe many people
have the same problem today, believing. As believers this
is where we come in. We have the opportunity to bring the
wonderful and amazing Christmas story to life for those
who are on the fence about it. We are able to do this by the
way we live each and every day, by the way we allow
Jesus to live in and through us, and by the way we allow
the Christmas story to be told in our actions and speech.
As we approach this final week leading up to Christmas,
let us draw even closer to the miracle in the manger.
Have a blessed week,
