Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good; for his steadfast love endures forever. Psalm 107:1

As we journey through this season of Lent, we see glimpses of grace and truth. In this penitent season, we are called to continue giving thanks to God.

As we search ourselves, spending time in prayer and reflection, we also continue to worship God. Have you noticed how our worship has changed in this season of Lent? Have you noticed that we have been more reflective? It is quite difficult to come in on Easter morning and celebrate our Risen Lord without going through this season. If you miss it, you miss something important. Ash Wednesday, 40 days of Lent, Palm Sunday, Holy Week – Maundy Thursday, Good Friday... Walking this journey with our Lord makes our celebration of Easter so much more meaningful having gone through this journey.

I invite you to come to the church during Holy Week. The Troy Door entrance will be open from 9:00 a.m. to 3 p.m. Holy Week (March 26th – 30th). As you enter the sanctuary, there will be a guided prayer meditation booklet available for you to pick up and pray at different stations throughout the main sanctuary. I hope that you will be able to come this Holy Week – stay as long as you would like. This will be a wonderful opportunity for you to pray and meditate on the Passion of our Lord.

Grace and Peace, Dakota
