Dear Dyersburg FUMC Family,
There are no words to describe how excited I am to be able to finally celebrate Easter with you in person! Please be sure to peruse the newsletter carefully as it contains information about

all that will be happening during Holy Week. We are still working to finalize plans for Easter Sunday, but we currently know for certain that we will be offering at least three worship services to ensure that everyone who wants to worship in person is able to while still remaining safe. We will also be sending out information via our email blasts this week and next to keep you informed about everything that is going on in the life of the church! I hope that you will also mark your calendars for Sunday, April 11. We will be celebrating Confirmation at 10 a.m. on that Sunday and receiving two young people into professing membership in our congregation. It is a celebration that you certainly will not want to miss! As you start thinking about your summer plans, remember that Lakeshore Camp and Retreat Center is holding a full schedule of summer camps for all ages of children and youth. You can register for camp by going to Lakeshore’s website ( I am also excited to share with you that our very own Sydney Bevis will be serving on Lakeshore’s summer staff as a Resident Counselor! As the flowers bloom and the days get longer, and as we end this season of Lent and begin the season of Easter, I pray that you feel a renewed sense of the energy of hope. There is much that God is calling us to do together as Christ’s church, and I am excited to be part of it with you!
In God’s grace, Mary Beth
