“When In Our Music God is Glorified”

Tis so sweet to trust in Jesus, Just to take Him at His word; Just to rest upon His promise; Just to know “Thus saith the Lord.”

Jesus, Jesus, how I trust Him! How I’ve proved Him o’er and o’er! Jesus, Jesus, precious Jesus!
O for grace to trust Him more!

When all we know to be true is tested, when our world is shattered, one thing remains: God’s steadfast love for us. You may be tired of hearing this, but you likely would agree that we have learned many lessons from 2020. In your personal life, your work life, your church life, virtually every aspect of our lives has been examined over the course of the past 12 months. Times, people, events, places we hold dear have changed and perhaps, will never be the same again. And yet, in the midst of the chaos of our lives, one thing remains: God’s steadfast love for us.

This we know to be true! A favorite hymn text recalls No storm can shake my inmost calm while to that Rock I’m clinging. Our “one thing” has remained. We can rest assured in this. How sweet to know that we can trust in Jesus, Our Rock, Our Redeemer, Our Friend. I pray that together, in 2021, we walk this journey of discipleship, not knowing our future but knowing who leads us on the way. Join us for worship, whether you are in our sanctuary or your living room. Join us along the journey as we encounter and seek to serve the Living Christ.

As the Psalmist says is Psalm 56:11 “In God I have put my trust; I will not be afraid.” I hope to “see” you Sunday.

Grace and Peace, Dakota
