Boy Scout Troop 87’s charter goes back to the late 1930’s. Dyersburg First United Methodist Church has sponsored them since that time. Troop 87 prides itself on conducting 10 to 12 outings per year, including activities such camping, canoeing, caving and hiking. Since its charter, well over ninety boys have received their Eagle Scout award while a member of Troop 87.

Meeting are help on Monday nights from 6:30 to 8:00 pm downstairs below the sanctuary in the Scout Room. For additional information, contact the church office, 731-285-6454.
