Before Hurricane Florence struck the Carolinas, our UMCOR warehouses were largely stocked with supplies. However, as we all know, since then, Hurricane Michael has caused extensive devastation in Florida and Georgia. According to Rev. Robert Craig, Disaster Response Coordinator, our warehouses are now depleted. Items needed immediately include

Hygiene Kits, Cleaning Kits, and Tornado buckets. Individual items needed include 12X26 feet and larger tarps, 20-inch box fans, 25 ft extension cords, 2 gallon garden sprayer, square-tipped shovels, and metal garden rakes. The link below gives detailed items for each kit. It is important to include precisely what is listed for each kit along with following the packing instructions closely. Financial donations are greatly needed as well and the link provides donation instructions for churches and individuals. https://www.memphis-umc.net/newsdetail/ memphis-conference-offers-many-ways-to-be-in-ministry- to-survivors-of-recents-storms-that-have-hit-southeastern -u-d-12244108
