music parish choir1Please join us in sharing music ministry and fellowship with Parish Choir, Childrens Choirs or Handbell Choir. Methodists have always been known as a people who love to lift their voices and instruments in praise of God. We believe music can be used as a message from God to his people.

Psalm 33:3 Sing to him a new song; play skillfully and shout for joy!

Parish Choir

The Parish Choir of FUMC sings regularly during morning worship. We sing a variety of repertoire ranging from Classical to Contemporary. One particular favorite genre of the Choir is Spirituals. We are a fun group of people who love to sing and love to fellowship with one another. An audition is not required for membership; all we ask is that you have a love of singing and a desire to help lead in the worship life of the church. Young Musicians

The Young Musicians Choir is offered for children in Kindergarten through 2nd grade. We meet on Wednesday nights in Rawles Hall August – May. We learn basic music skills such as counting and reading music notes. We also learn many fun bible games and songs while working on art projects! We sing during morning worship several times each semester. Come and sing with the Young Musicians Choir!

Wesley Choir

The Wesley Choir is open to children in 3rd grade – 5th grade. We meet in Rawles Hall on Wednesday evenings from August to May. We join with the Wesley Choir to present 2 musicals per year, a spring musical and a fall musical. We build on ideas previously learned in the Young Musicians Choir and work to expand our knowledge of music and how music works. We sing in morning worship several times per semester. Come make a joyful noise with the Wesley Choir!
